Hello from Laurel and Terry,
After being closed since March, this popular downtown Kalamazoo bed and breakfast inn is reopening. As the former innkeepers here from 2007 through 2014, we are excited to start welcoming guests to this beautiful, historic property starting Friday, July 31 and into the Fall. We can’t wait to greet old friends and make new ones in this very special house…in this very special town.
While we’ve been thoroughly enjoying living in Arizona and doing some traveling in the American West since leaving here at the end of 2014, it feels good to be back in this terrific downtown. We’re having fun revisiting old favorite venues and discovering new ones…seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. And we hope you’ll join us at the Kalamazoo House when you come to town.
Since today’s travelers know what they want when they choose where to stay, it’s great that the Kalamazoo House is already uniquely suited to check the boxes:
-
Contact free/touch free check-in and check out without appointments—Check.
-
Delicious breakfast choices served at individual tables suitably separated from other guests—you bet.
-
Guestroom windows that open, and inviting porches to enjoy the outdoors. Yes, we have those, too.
We’re small, so you know there won’t be crowds of other travelers. We’re owner-occupied, so you can breathe easy knowing that we’re just as invested in safety and cleanliness as you are.  Please check out our COVID-19 policies and procedures, and feel free to contact us with any questions you have.
Of course, one of the many reasons to stay at a locally-owned B&B is that the innkeepers stay abreast of what’s happening in town. If business openings and closings ebb and flow, we’ll do our best to keep on top of all the activities that have made this downtown Kalamazoo B&B such a popular place to stay. We’ll soon be posting updated lists on our website of the breweries, restaurants and attractions that are open. Until that time, please check with us if Google doesn’t answer your questions and we’ll do our best to help you plan.
At the current time, we are taking reservations for stays between July 31 and October 31 and making plans for after that time. We sure would love to see you in Kalamazoo!
Best regards…Please stay healthy and safe ’til we meet again…
